UWI Fete 2019 - Champagne & Gold - Staff Deductions Available

The UWI Fete is the cornerstone of The UWI Development and Endowment Fund (UWIDEF) which to date has granted over 3000 bursaries to deserving students.

Help provide more scholarships to postgraduate and undergraduate students by purchasing a ticket for the 29th annual UWI Fete – Champagne and Gold.  

This event takes place February 3, 2019 from noon to 8pm at The UWI St. Augustine.

Featured artists include:

  • Kes the Band
  • Dil-E-Nadan
  • Nailah Blackman
  • Patrice Roberts
  • Voice
  • Laventille Rhythm Section
  • Tassa
  • Newtown Playboys 

Tickets cost $1,100 as of January 1, 2019.

Staff of the University will again be able to purchase tickets via salary deduction as follows:

  • Over a three month period (January to March) if tickets are purchased by January 7, 2019
  • Over a two month period (February and March) if tickets are purchased after January 7, 2019

Staff must present their staff ID or copies of their contracts which must be valid until March 31, 2019. 

Tickets are on sale at The UWIDEF Secretariat, please call 662-2002 ext. 82326 or at the following Republic Bank Branches: Trincity, UWI, Long Circular Mall, Valpark and Gulf View.
