The Alma Jordan Library’s (AJL) Intellectual Property Help Desk is at your service to assist staff and students with ease of access to education, information, training and advisory services in the field of Intellectual Property (IP).

The service will be available every second and fourth Thursday of each month from 1 to 4pm at The AJL, Ground Floor along the eastern wing in the area of the STARRS Computing Lab and the Reserves 24/7 Reading Room.

Please note: Students who wish to enrol for the online Distance Learning IP courses offered by the WIPO Worldwide Academy, are encouraged to contact the IP Help Desk at The Alma Jordan Library for further details.

About the Launch of The AJL Intellectual Property Help Desk

The Alma Jordan Library (AJL) in collaboration with the Office of Research Development and Knowledge Transfer (ORDKT), The UWI St Augustine Campus and the Intellectual Property Office of the Ministry of the Attorney General and Legal Affairs launched the Alma Jordan Library Intellectual Property Help Desk on July 31, 2018, at the AJL.

The objective of the Alma Jordan Library (AJL) Intellectual Property (IP) Help Desk is to enable the entire UWI community to have ease of access to education, information, training and advisory services in the field of Intellectual Property (IP). This intervention is strategic, and the initiative comes at an opportune time when the UWI, St. Augustine is placing greater emphasis on innovation and entrepreneurship, and an increase in IP disclosure for inventions is envisaged.
