FST Week Research Symposium - Call for Abstracts

The Faculty of Science and Technology (FST) have issued a Call for Abstracts for their FST Week Research Symposium under the theme, Science in Communities. 

Oral, Poster and Video Presentations are welcomed in the following research areas: 
  • Climate Change
  • Disaster Preparedness and Management
  • Environmental and Earth Sciences
  • Data Application
  • Information Technology Management and Security
  • Energy, Fuels, Green Technology and Renewable Energy
  • Health and Safety
  • Medicine and Medical Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Wellness

About FST Week

FST Week will highlight research done in Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) under the theme ‘SCIENCE IN COMMUNITIES’ and showcase the collaboration amongst departments, The UWI, industry and communities and complement the Faculty’s drive of supporting partnerships, locally, regionally and internationally. This symposium seeks to explore the various ways in which science is present in our closest spaces and the impact it has on our society.
