CAPS Invites you to UNWIND Your MIND

The Counselling & Psychological Service (CAPS), under DSSD hosts Unwind Your Mind – A day of massages, mindfulness, puppies and more!

Don’t miss the de-stressing event on March 20 from noon to 5pm at the Learning Resource Centre (LRC) Greens.

Check out the list of activities below:

  • Massage by our massage therapists from SPEC
  • Mindfulness corner – learn how to eat mindfully & the benefits of meditation for relaxation & wellbeing
  • Learn the health benefits of Good Sex, with a certified sex coach
  • Therapeutic arts and crafts – make yourself a stress reliever or a calming jar
  • Lots of animals including bunnies, puppies, and a pony
  • A bouncy castle for all ages
  • Cocoa chillers (courtesy UWI Cocoa Research Centre) and gluten-free muffins will be on sale

Some scheduled activities to try, under the trees:

2pm       music therapy from our music therapist at DCFA

3pm       yoga

4pm       more sex, less stress

5pm       meditation

12 to 2pm | Get your Brain profiled at the Colour your Brain table – know your strengths & your stressors

2 to 4pm | Inside Out workshop – decorate your private and public emotional selves with our in-house artist
