FST presents Science & Technology Week 2019

The Faculty of Science and Technology presents Science and Technology Week 2019 under the theme, Science in Communities.

Be there from May 20 to 24 for a week of science-filled activity for people of all ages. Each day of the week will address a different theme and the week closes with a special panel discussion and closing ceremony.

See details below happening at the Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC):

  • Mon May 20 | Theme – Climate Change, Disaster Preparedness and Management, Environmental and Earth Sciences
  • Tues May 21 | Theme – Data Application, its Management & Security, Information Technology
  • Wed May 22 | Theme – Energy, Fuels, Green Technology, Renewables
  • Thurs May 23 | Theme – Health, Safety, Medicine & Medical Technology, Pharmaceuticals, Wellness
  • Friday May 24 | Career and Outreach Activities; Panel Discussion: Cannabis – Science and the Issues and ends in a Closing Ceremony
