Applications are open for the Makandal Daaga Scholarship which aims to create lawyers who are change agents, promoting justice and an egalitarian society.
Suitable applicants must meet UWI’s minimum qualifications for entry and have a discernible record advocating for positive social change through concrete work on issues of justice, equality, or democracy in an NGO, governmental, regional or individual capacity.
Eligibility: Any age, gender, race, or CARICOM nationality, enrolled in Year 1 for academic year 2019/2020.
