IGDS hosts the Reach for Rights Camp

The Institute for Gender and Development Studies (IGDS) hosts its Reach for Rights Camp for prospective and new students between the ages of 16 to 19.

Participants will be exposed to a series of dynamic activities including learning about Education for Social Change, Sustainable Development, Robotics, Recycling, Sports Management, Renewable Energy, Food Security and much more.

The camp takes place from July 15 to 19, 2019 from 9am to 5pm on campus.  The cost is $1,400.

Objectives:

  • To allow participants to explore The UWI beyond the classroom, its activism and social change work
  • To allow participants the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the UWI Campus
  • To provide attendees with information that will show exciting ways to think about future and career
