The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) invites applications for the The UWI Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (CUTL) programme which is designed to enhance the quality of teaching of the University’s teaching staff.

About CUTL 

CUTL is a part-time, graduate level programme which is compulsory for all new members of The UWI academic staff without prior qualification and training in university teaching.  However, priority is given to Lecturers and Instructors who have a contractual obligation to complete CUTL.

Please note the following:

• UWI Staff members DO NOT need to submit supporting documents with their application (e.g. medical forms, transcripts, birth certificates etc…).  However, they must be sure to indicate that they are a UWI staff member on the appropriate section of the application. N.B.: Please use generated User ID number and NOT Staff ID.

• Once the online application has been completed, the Confirmation Receipt must be printed and submitted to: The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning  Teaching & Learning Complex The University of the West Indies St. Augustine Campus Trinidad & Tobago W.I.

The Application Deadline has been extended to July 10, 2020.

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of June 2020. The mandatory CUTL Orientation session will take place from August 26, 27  and 28, 2020.

Applicants are encouraged to follow-up on your application with the CETL shortly after the March 31, 2020 deadline.  Please retain copies and receipts of all documents.
