The UWI-Trinidad and Tobago Research and Development Impact Fund and The University of the West Indies, St. Augustine are hosting the following workshop on “Mini Projects for Deployment of Smart Grid Technology” under capacity building activity of its UWI T&T RDI funded project on “Capacity Building and Research on Smart Grid Technology in the Caribbean Region.”
This workshop takes place on April 2, 2015 at Lecture Theater 3, Engineering Block 13, Faculty of Engineering from 9am to 4pm.

The deadline for registration is March 30.
This workshop is aimed at CAPE level teachers of Electronics, Computer Science and Physics. Participants will be introduced with the smart grid concept and its deployment at school level using Arduino UNO and various sensors.
This workshop is being organized in association with BG T&T, IEEE T&T and Ministry of Education (T&T).
