August is UWI Global Giving Month. The University is calling on its community of alumni, partners and friends regionally and internationally to support students whose finances, and that of their parents, have been negatively affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

UWI Global Giving, encourages persons to give small contributions to the University—as little as US$10 online via www.uwi.edu/giving.

On August 2, a special UWI Global Giving video presentation titled The Power of Giving was aired.

The event held on August 2, was hosted by His Excellency Sir S. W. Tapley Seaton, Governor-General of Saint Kitts and Nevis and Patron and of the Alumni Association St Kitts and Nevis Chapter.
