The Fundraising and Alumni Affairs Unit (FAO) in the Office of Institutional Advancement and Internationalisation (OIAI) is pleased to announce the launch of the app UWI CONNECT, an interactive web and mobile app that provides unique opportunities for current UWI St. Augustine students and alumni to engage and stay informed about the happenings in our community.

A cross-functional Campus Project Team, comprising representatives from the UWI Development and Endowment Fund, the Office of the Campus Principal, Campus Legal, Campus IT Services, the Division of Student Services and Development and the Marketing and Communications Office have been driving the efforts to launch the app.

Through the UWI CONNECT website and app, we can offer our key stakeholders the services of:

• Customised Personal and Corporate Profiles
• Reconnecting with friends and colleagues
• Networking with thousands of students, and graduates
• Sharing opportunities for internships and jobs via the Job Board

Overall, the platform allows all students and alumni to and stay informed about all things involving the St. Augustine Campus by bringing enhanced connectivity within our community. 

UWI CONNECT is available for download on Apple and Android devices. Once you have downloaded the “Graduway Community” app onto your device, you will enter “The University of the West Indies” into the institution list and choose it from the drop-down menu. UWI CONNECT will then be activated.The FAO was established in 2012 to reach, serve and engage all UWI St. Augustine alumni, to foster a lifelong intellectual and emotional connection between graduates, and to assist the Campus in supplementing its financial resources by seeking donor funds from local, regional, and international markets.
