Join the Vice Chancellor's UWI Students Today, Ambassadors Tomorrow Corps. The Corps provides students with opportunities to integrate with fellow Caribbean and international students. 

It provides varied experiences to enhance your education and develop leadership skills through involvement in campus, volunteer, and alumni activities.

The deadline for applications is October 15.

The Vice Chancellor's UWI Students Today, Ambassadors Tomorrow Corps provides students with opportunities to integrate with fellow Caribbean and international students. It provides varied experiences to enhance your education and develop leadership skills through involvement in campus, volunteer, and alumni activities.

One of the activities executed last year was our regional integration seminar entitled "Caribbean Youth and the Remaking of our Democracy" where UWI Vice-Chancellor Professor Sir Hilary Beckles shared his knowledge about youth in advocacy in the Caribbean, emphasizing the role of youth in the making of the future Caribbean. Being chairman of the Caribbean Reparation Commission, he also touched on reparations in the Caribbean. 

Another of initiative centers climate change, this is the Farmingdale State College's Renewable Energy and Sustainability Center and the UWI in the 9th annual International Energy and Sustainability Conference. Professionals in their respective fields shared technological advancements and techniques towards renewable energy in an active effort to sustainably mitigate climate change. 

To become a UWI STAT Ambassador you must apply, be interviewed, selected, and then trained. After satisfying certain criteria you are inducted into the Ambassadorial Corps and pledge lifelong allegiance to The UWI. Henceforth you will be addressed as "Ambassador *name*" and graduate as an alumni ambassador to the UWI.
