Campus Research and Publication Fund (CR&P) - Academic Staff Grant Applications

The Campus Research and Publication Fund Committee is inviting grant applications from Academic, Senior Administrative and Professional Staff. Grant applications are to be submitted via the UWI Scholar Platform located on the following website: . Website: https://sta.uwi.edu/research/research-funding

Kindly note that: 

The Academic Staff Applicant’s Manual and the CR&P Academic Staff Guidelines were incorporated into one document. Refer to website.

The online grant application and supporting documents (i.e. reports, quotations etc.) must all be uploaded on the UWI Scholar Platform by 12 a.m. on Monday November 25, 2021. 

 

Campus Research and Publication Fund (CR&P)  - Research Funding for Registered Graduate Research (M.Phil./Ph.D.) Students:

Please note the following:

Research Funding is available only for registered Graduate Research (M.Phil./Ph.D.) Students in Year II and above of their research degree.

Grant applications for students are being accepted via the online UWI Scholar Platform located on the following website: https://sta.uwi.edu/research/research-funding

The Research Student Applicant’s Manual and the CR&P Research Student Guidelines were incorporated into one document. Refer to website.

The deadline date above to Academic Staff members does not apply to Graduate Research (M.Phil./Ph.D.) Students. Students are asked to submit their grant application at least two (2) months in advance for any category of funding (refer to student manual) along with the relevant quotations and supporting documents (see checklist of documents required for the specific type of application in the manual).  Failure to submit the supporting documents, results in unnecessary delays in the processing of grant applications.

Supervisors of M.Phil./Ph.D. graduate research students are asked to inform their students of the available research funding opportunities from the Campus Research and Publication Fund Committee.
