Call for Applications: Caribbean Youth Fellowship

During this four-month course, youth from Belize, the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago and Surinam will have the opportunity to engage with experts and facilitators on topics such as leadership and public policy.

Registrations will be open until February 25. There will then be a selection process from which 20 youth from each country will be accredited to participate in the course.

The course will begin the first week of March and last until the end of June. Classes will take place once a week for three hours. Those youth who complete the course will receive a certificate of participation. Attached in the flyer you will find more details.

The goal of the Caribbean Youth Fellowship is for Caribbean youth to become leaders in developing political solutions that address community needs. The course will feature leading experts in governance, civic participation, economic development, citizen security, and public policy development. Beneficiaries will be trained in good governance, leadership, the socio-economic impact of public policies, problem analysis and diagnosis techniques, and the development of impactful and innovative policy proposals, among others.
