Call for Proposals: HIT RESET project (DEADLINE EXTENDED)

Posted Thursday, September 1, 2022

The regional project Harnessing Innovative Technologies to support Resilient Settlements on the Coastal Zones of the Caribbean (HIT RESET) recognizes that the creation, development and diffusion of indigenous and other forms of knowledge, technologies and innovations are powerful drivers of inclusive and sustainable socio-economic development. This is particularly important in building resilience in coastal communities of the Caribbean where the majority of the population and infrastructure resides, and which is threatened by Sea Level Rise and the impacts of hydro-meteorological events exacerbated by Climate Change.

This project aims to provide support for research projects which develop innovations to increase resilience in coastal communities of the Caribbean, as well as strengthen institutions, national and local governments’ ability to leverage information and knowledge for policy amendments.
