Campus Research and Publication Fund, Student Online Grant Applications

 The Campus Research and Publication (CR&P) Fund provides financial assistance to registered full-time or part-time Graduate M.Phil. & Ph.D. research students (only) in Year II and above of their research degree programme to:

  • Undertake their research fieldwork/data collection (Provides only seed (start up) funding for research)  
  • Postgraduate Training (enrolment in courses, workshops)
  • Present their findings at regional and international Conferences (oral & poster presentations)
  • Publish book chapters and Journal articles \

 

When are applications due?

Applications can be submitted year round, but must be submitted at least six-weeks in advance of expected date of use of funds. 

 

Instructions for Student Grant Applications

To apply for CR&P funding, students are required to submit their request for grant funding via an online grant application form.  Students are strongly advised to first review the  Student Applicant Manual and CRP Guidelines .  This manual is located on the student section of the website and is divided into two phases: The first provides the guidelines for the application process in the UWI Scholar Platform (with pictures) and the second phase provides the regulations and guidelines on the different categories of grants available to research students.  In addition, this second phase also provides information on the different supporting documents required for each category of application.

 

How to Apply for Student CR&P Funding

 

Please note that the following categories of students are not eligible for CR&P Funding:

  • Students pursuing any Self-Financing degrees
  • Students pursuing Certificates, Diplomas, M.Sc. MA etc Taught degrees
