Consultation requests for the August 2022 ELPT session can be made to Ms. Jamia Mc Queen at Jamila.mcqueen@sta.uwi.edu until September 21, then from October 3 to 11, 2022. Please note that consultation sessions will be conducted virtually and incur no cost. Unsuccessful ELPT candidates are strongly advised to request and attend these free consultations.

Who should write the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT)?
Do you need to qualify to read any of the Faculty’s Foundation Courses in English Language? If, the answer is yes, then the ELPT exam is for you!
Do you have any of the following qualifications? Check our list below:
· CAPE Communication Studies Grade I or II
· General Paper, Grade A or B
· CSEC General Proficiency, English Language Grade 1
· GCE/ BGCSE English Language, Distinction (Grade A or I or II)
· TOEFL (Paper Test Score 580+ or Electronic minimum writing score 22)
· An undergraduate degree from an English-speaking University
· UWIDEC/Open Campus Language Skills and Communication (Grade B and above)
· FDMU 0005 Preparatory Academic Writing
If you do not, then you will be required to write and successfully pass the English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT).

Registration forms can be accessed via the FHE Website ONLY during the respective registration periods. Registration is online and will only be accepted via the registration forms. Detailed payment information is available on the FHE website for the ELPT Workshop and Examination.
