National Schools Poster Competition for Secondary Schools

The Department of Physics, at the Faculty of Science and Technology, is hosting a National Schools Poster Competition for secondary school students. The theme of this competition is Medical Physics & Sustainable Healthcare. The event is geared toward celebrating medical physics and technology and observe the 2023 International Day of Medical Physics. It will assist in promoting the fields of medical physics and medical technology. This is essential for the continued development of the health sector in the country and region. 

Poster Details:

  1. Each participant can submit only one entry. (Submission by multiple participants from the same school is allowed.)
  2. The theme must be clearly included.
  3. The poster should not contain any of the participant’s details. 
  4. These details will be submitted in the registration form only.
  5. The poster can be digital or handmade and must be two-dimensional.
  6. The poster is to be done in Landscape or Portrait orientation and measure 8.5² x 11².
  7. The submission must be original work. Plagiarism and explicit content in the poster will lead to disqualification.
  8. Each participant must also submit an audio clip (no more than 3 minutes duration) explaining how the poster submitted is linked to the theme and the materials used to create it.

  10. The submission link, along with additional instructions, will be sent to participants using the email addresses entered in the registration form.
Deadline for submission: Friday, June 30.
