General Notices

The campus swimming pool,located north of the LRC Greens is open for recreational use by students and staff free of charge.

You can enjoy the pool: Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. - 1 p.m. and 4:30  - 6:30 p.m. except on public holidays. A lifeguard will be on duty during these hours of operation.

Additional pool activites are available as follows:

Aqua Aerobics: Friday, 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. (until July 31, 2024)

Learn to Swim: Sunday, 10 a.m. - 11 a.m. (until May 31, 2024)

Please note the following:

- Persons will be allowed to use the pool for one hour per day

- A maximum of 15 persons will be allowed at any given time

- Persons using the pool must present their UWI ID card and sign a log book

- There are no locker facilities available at this time, so kindly secure all personal belongings before coming to the pool

- Shower facilities are available onsite

- All swimwear must be synthetic (e.g. spandex, rayon, scuba, nylon). No cotton clothing is allowed in the pool

- Persons with long hair must wear a swim cap

Members of staff can also have their children, under the age of 18, join them at the pool, however the following rules must be followed:

- Minors must be accompanied by an adult and supervised by the adult while in the pool

- Floatation devices are required based on the skill level of the child
