The inaugural program of the Young Talents Caribbean Region L’Oreal-UNESCO for Women in Science aims to promote and encourage the participation of Caribbean women in science. This program identifies and rewards young talented researchers in the formal sciences, life and environmental sciences, material sciences, engineering sciences and technological sciences. Applicants will have a chance to be awarded $10,000 USD to conduct further research in a STEM field.

For the 1st edition of the Young Talents Caribbean Region L’Oréal-UNESCO for Women In Science, 2 endowments will be given to encourage young researchers currently in doctoral, post-doctoral studies or in early stage of a scientific research career .Must be a national of one of the countries and territories in the Caribbean region.

Applications are due by July 15, 2023.
