Writing effective learning outcomes is an important aspect of planning for teaching and learning. This virtual workshop, hosted by the Center for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL), will provide opportunity for participants to collaborate with their peers to develop and critique learning outcomes that adhere to specific criteria. This session will be held virtually on Wednesday, October 4 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Dr. Juliette Jones will be the featured presenter

Outcomes

Upon completion of this workshop, you will be able to:

1.       Identify the characteristics of effective learning outcomes. 

2.       Critique sample learning outcomes. 

3.       Align learning outcomes to goals, learning activities and assessments. 

4.     Create effective learning outcomes.
