The Department of Careers, Co-curricular & Community Engagement invites you to their NGO Presentation workshop with Arrive Alive. This two-fold session covers a new driver safety workshop with the bonus of getting to know the organization to ensure that you are well-informed before your commitment as a volunteer.

The New Drivers Safety Workshop targets newly licensed (inexperienced) drivers, provisional permit holders and prospective drivers. This segment aims to equip attendees with the life-saving knowledge that fosters safer driving habits. Additionally, it stimulates awareness of the value of having a safe driving mindset and changes attitudes and behaviours that may lead to disqualification, a collision, serious injury or even death.

Topics covered include:

- Basic vehicle inspection

- Journey Management

- Impaired & Distracted Driving

- The Demerit Points System

The dynamic session takes place on Tuesday, September 26, at 1:30 p.m. on the Zoom platform.
