The Department of Behavioural Sciences invites members of the campus community to join the virtual Seminar Presentation for Ph.D. Sociology candidate Mrs Kareina St. Hill on Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. The title of her presentation is Third Sector Migrant Organizations: Support and Policy Insights. Mrs St Hill's work seeks to examine the role that third sector migrant organizations play in Trinidad as they provide support to Venezuelan migrants. It is noteworthy that there is a challenge with updated migrant policy and legislation in Trinidad. This work seeks to examine the way in which these organizations operate within this present reality and will endeavor to gain insights that may frame migration policy to assist in their operations.
