These Graduate Sensitization Sessions Will Help You with Your Research

The School for Graduate Studies and Research is hosting a series of Sensitization Sessions on graduate procedures necessary for postgraduate research supervisors and students beginning Tuesday, April 23.

These sessions are designed for information sharing and is meant to clarify the roles and responsibilities of graduate research students and advisory committees, discuss best practices in research, address intellectual property rights, discuss how research ethics can be maintained and provide insights on navigating potential pitfalls such as predatory publishing and plagiarism. These sessions aim to equip both supervisors and students with essential information and tools for successful and ethically sound research endeavours.
