The Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL) announces the call for the “2024 UWI/Guardian Life Premium Teaching Awards. 

This biennial event is a longstanding partnership with the Guardian Life of the Caribbean, and the University of the West Indies (UWI) where teaching excellence at The UWI, St. Augustine is celebrated.  Teaching staff are invited to apply for the 2024 UWI/Guardian Life Premium Teaching Awards.  This call for applications is open to all full-time members of UWI St. Augustine academic staff including, Deans and Heads of Departments, who have taught regularly for at least two consecutive years.  

To apply for the teaching award, you are invited to submit your ePortfolio via the following submission portal, found by clicking here. Submissions must be sent in by 12:00 PM (AST GMT on Sunday June 02^nd, 2024. 

Applicants are required to include the following on submission portal:

-          portfolio URL (website address).  Ensure that the link to your e-portfolio is accessible to external viewers.

-          password for your e-Portfolio if it is password-protected
