Workshop:Practical Strategies for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education

In this face to face workshop hosted by the Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL), participants will explore practical creative strategies for teaching and learning in higher education; explore the importance of creativity as a catalyst for personal and academic growth, and explore its impact on critical thinking, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. Attendees will also examine the role of technology, interdisciplinary studies, and experiential learning in cultivating creativity; and address how these elements can enhance the educational journey, empower students to think outside the box, and equip them with the skills, mindset, and adaptability needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

This session will be held on Wednesday, June 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the CETL Technology Lab -Teaching and Learning Complex (TLC). The facilitator will be Dr Juliet Jones. Members of staff who are interested in attending can click here to register.
