Posted Tuesday, June 18, 2024

Pro Vice-Chancellor and Campus Principal, Professor Rose-Marie Belle Antoine has announced Management Re-alignment on the Campus. Please read on:

I am pleased to announce management alignment changes designed to enhance our operational efficiency and better serve our community. These strategic adjustments will position us to meet our goals more effectively and foster a more dynamic and inclusive environment.

1. Campus Executive Management Team (CEMT)

To elevate our decision-making process and ensure a broader range of perspectives, we have expanded the Campus Executive Management Team (CEMT). The previous CEMT comprised the Campus Principal, Deputy Principal, Campus Registrar, Campus Bursar and Campus Librarian. The newly formed team includes:

-        The Campus Principal

-        The Deputy Principal

-        The Campus Registrar

-        The Campus Bursar

-        The Campus Librarian

-        All of the Faculty Deans

-        The Director, Graduate Studies

-        The Director, Human Resources

-        The Campus CIO IT Services

-        The Director, Marketing and Communications

2. Change in Reporting Lines - Division of Human Resources

In alignment with the recommendations of the Attain Report—the most comprehensive and independent management review of our Campus to date—the Division of Human Resources will now report directly to the Campus Principal, with the Director, Human Resources also serving on the Campus Executive Management Team (CEMT). This immediate change will fortify the autonomy and responsiveness necessary for an efficient HR Division.

These transformative changes underscore our unwavering dedication to enhancing campus operations. By optimizing our management capabilities with this diverse team of professionals, we are poised to meet the evolving needs of our community with agility and excellence. We can drive meaningful change, ensuring that our Campus benefits from a wide array of insights and skills. The involvement of our key leaders in critical decisions more directly, also demonstrates our commitment to creating a more democratic and effective management structure that is focused on implementation.

Thank you for your continued support and cooperation.
