Join the 14th IPD Summer Academy in Basel, Switzerland

The Institute for Peace and Dialogue (IPD) is hosting its 14th International Summer Academy in Basel, Switzerland, from August 5-21, 2024 at the Hotel Alfa. This programme is designed for those interested in peacebuilding, conflict resolution, international security, and related fields. It offers participants the opportunity to gain academic knowledge and practical experience through a variety of training sessions.

The program is ideal for a wide range of professionals, including representatives from government, businesses, NGOs, and educational institutions, as well as religious leaders, mediators, politicians, and students. Participants can choose from a 16-day Summer Academy or a 3-month Research Program that combines the academy with a research opportunity.

The Institute offers scholarships to help reduce participation fees for qualified applicants. To apply, fill out the application form available online and submit it by email at, WhatsApp, or LinkedIn.

Application Process:

-          Submit your application: Complete the application form (available online) and submit it in Word format by the deadline of July 1, 2024. Early applications are encouraged, especially for those requiring a visa for Switzerland or additional financial documentation from their workplace.

-          Payment: Once you submit your application, you'll receive an invoice for the participation fee. Upon payment, you'll receive an official invitation letter via email.

-          Visa Application Support: If you need a visa to enter Switzerland, the IPD can assist you. After receiving your payment, they'll send a visa invitation letter by mail directly to you and the relevant embassy.
