The 55th Annual Monetary Studies Conference (AMSC) will be held from Wednesday, November 6 to Friday, November 8, 2024. This year's conference, Macroeconomic Management in an Era of Polycrisis, will be hosted by the Central Bank of Barbados. The Conference will be held in a hybrid format, allowing for both face-to-face and virtual participation.
This year aims to bring policymakers, researchers and practitioners together to discuss pertinent issues relating to the management of economic systems in an era increasingly characterised by contemporaneous multiple interlinked global crises.
Persons are invited to submit complete papers or extended abstracts that explore pertinent topics, which aim to promote understanding and discourse on economic management in a polycrisis world. These topics include, but are not limited to:
- Caribbean economic adjustment and de-globalisation
- Financial development and financial stability
- Adjusting to climate change
- Digital innovations and transformation
- Regional integration and governance
The deadline to submit your paper or extended abstract is August 16, 2024. Early submissions are highly encouraged and preference will be given to those submissions that are related to the conference’s theme and topics. Accepted authors will be notified by August 20, 2024 and will be required to register for the conference and submit a final electronic copy (PDF format) of their paper October 15, 2024.
