Applications for the President's Pr.A.I.S.E Awards Are OPEN

The President's Award for Innovation and Service Excellence (Pr.A.I.S.E), returns for a 7th year to honour outstanding public-sector projects.

Hosted under the esteemed patronage of Her Excellency Christine Kangaloo O.R.T.T., President of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, it highlights innovation and service excellence among Ministries, Public Service Departments/Divisions, State-owned Companies, Statutory Bodies, Municipalities and The Tobago House of Assembly.

This competition focuses on projects that demonstrate innovation, service excellence, efficiency, and a positive impact on citizens' lives. These projects should align with the public sector’s goals of improving service delivery, transparency, and community engagement. The Praise Award competition accepts projects in two main categories: Innovation and Service Excellence.

What types of projects should be considered in the Service Excellence Category?

Projects in this category should focus on improving public service quality and meeting or exceeding customer expectations through creative and innovative solutions. Consider initiatives like customer service improvements, process efficiency enhancements, digital transformation, and robust feedback mechanisms. Highlight specific examples demonstrating how your entity has excelled in delivering superior service.

What types of projects should be considered in the Innovation Category?

Projects in this category should focus on developing innovative solutions that improve public service quality and address societal needs. Consider initiatives like new technology implementations, creative problem-solving methods, and process reengineering. Highlight specific examples demonstrating how your entity has successfully leveraged technology and integrated innovation into its operations.

There is no limit on the number of entries per organization or per category. However, please note that the same project cannot be entered in both categories.

All finalists will qualify for technical support from the Digital Transformation Hub, providing them with valuable resources to further enhance your projects.
