(a) Campus Research and Publication Fund (CR&P) - Academic Staff Grant Applications 

The Campus Research and Publication Fund Committee is pleased to announce the opening of grant applications for Academic, Senior Administrative and Professional Staff. 

To apply, please visit the UWI Scholar Platform. 

 Before applying, carefully review the following documents: 

1.      Academic Staff Applicant UWIScholar System Manual. 

-          The Academic Staff Applicant UWIScholar System Manual and the CR&P Academic Staff Guidelines are two separate documents. Both documents should be reviewed before preparing a grant application. 

2.      CR&P Academic Staff Guidelines  

Please take note of the following submission deadlines 

-         Submit documents to the Deputy Dean (Graduate Studies) for review by Wednesday September 25, 2024 

-         Submit signed grant applications and reports to the UWI Scholar Platform by Wednesday October 9, 2024 

 (b) Campus Research and Publication Fund (CR&P) - Research Funding for Registered Graduate Research (M.Phil./Ph.D.) Students: 

 Please note the following: 

1. Research funding is available for registered Graduate Research (M.Phil./ Ph.D.) Students in Year II and above of their research degrees ONLY 

2. To apply, please visit the UWI Scholar Platform. 

Before applying, it is crucial to review the combined document as the Research Student Applicant’s Manual and the CR&P Research Student Guidelines were incorporated into one document. Refer to website. 

Please note the following additional details: 

 - Students must submit their grant application at least two (2) months in advance for any category of funding, as outlined in the student manual. 

 - Ensure relevant quotations and supporting documents are attached (refer to the checklist in the manual). Failure to do so may result in unnecessary delays in processing. 

- Supervisors of M.Phil./Ph.D. graduate research students are requested to inform their students about the available research funding opportunities from the Campus Research and Publication Fund Committee.
