Posted Wednesday, October 16, 2024

The Centre for Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CETL) invites staff to participate in their upcoming face-to-face workshop on the topic Some Practical Strategies for Teaching and Learning in Higher Education - PART 2.

In this workshop, participants will explore practical creative strategies for teaching and learning in higher education. CETL will shed light on the importance of creativity as a catalyst for personal and academic growth, and explore its impact on critical thinking, problem-solving, and lifelong learning. Additionally, the role of technology, interdisciplinary studies, and experiential learning in cultivating creativity will be examined. The aim is to address how these elements can enhance the educational journey, empower students to think outside the box, and equip them with the skills, mindset, and adaptability needed to thrive in a rapidly evolving world.

Staff are invited to join the discussion on the untapped potential of creativity in higher education and discovering how it can revolutionize teaching and learning, empower students to become curious, confident, and creative thinkers who can shape the future.

This session will take place on Wednesday, November 06 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Lead Presenter will be Dr. Juliet Jones, Faculty Development Specialist – CETL.
