Staff Notices

The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) is currently accepting applications for The UWI Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (CUTL) Programme 2025/2026. This programme is designed to enhance the quality of teaching delivered by the University’s teaching staff.

CUTL is a blended, part-time, graduate level programme which is compulsory for all new members of The UWI’s academic staff without prior qualification and training in university teaching. However, priority is given to Lecturers and Instructors who have a contractual obligation to complete CUTL.

Please note the following:

- Applications are processed through the Office of Graduate Studies and Research. Click here to access the online application

- UWI Staff members (applicants) DO NOT need to submit supporting documents with their application (e.g. medical forms, transcripts, birth certificates etc.). However, they must be sure to indicate that they are UWI teaching staff members on the appropriate section of the application.

- You are encouraged to retain copies and receipts of all documents. 

The deadline for applications is May 31 , 2025.

Successful applicants will be notified by the end of July 2025.
