Contributions are being sought for an upcoming book titled “Higher Education & SDG 13: Climate Action" that is being published by Emerald Publishing Ltd. This book aims to explore how universities in the Global South, particularly in the Caribbean, are tackling climate change through their teaching, research, and multistakeholder engagement.

Editors include:

- Ms. Sandrea Maynard, Pro Vice-Chancellor for Global Affairs

- Professor Michael Taylor, Dean of the Faculty of Science and Technology, Mona Campus

- Dr. Preeya Mohan, Senior Fellow, Sir Arthur Lewis Institute of Social and Economic Studies, St Augustine Campus

Contributions should showcase successful activities and strategies, promoting collaboration and partnerships across disciplines and institutions.

Interested scholars, practitioners, policy makers, and students can submit proposals for chapters, policy briefs or short essays showing how higher education initiatives are driving thought and practice.

The deadline for deadline for submissions is Monday, March 31, 2025.
