2025 marks the 65th Anniversary of The UWI St. Augustine Campus and today we kick-off our commemoration of this milestone. Allow us to introduce you to the theme for this year's celebrations and share more on the anniversary logo and its uses. 

Beyond 65: From the Caribbean, For the World

This theme acknowledges the Campus’s Caribbean roots and highlights its far-reaching impact beyond the Caribbean. The UWI St Augustine's research, academics and graduates have made significant contributions to global challenges and innovations such as climate change, food security, health & disease, crime and sustainability. This theme also serves to inspire pride in UWI’s regional identity and reminds that while the university’s roots are firmly planted in the Caribbean, its reach and influence extend far beyond, contributing to global progress and shaping the future of the world.

A special logo was designed in commemoration of our 65th anniversary, for use throughout the 2025 calendar year. Click below for the reveal of the logo.

65th Logo Identity and Usage Guidelines

You are encouraged to utilise this logo, but before you do so, kindly ensure that you review the brand usage guidelines, which you can access by clicking here. 

To ensure that all our collateral, such as email signatures, letterheads, virtual backgrounds etc. are all properly branded to represent our 65th Anniversary, we prepared a folder of resources for your use. Click here to access.
