Student Notices

The 2025 Guild of Students Virtual General Elections takes place on Thursday, April 03, 2025. During this annual election exercise, all registered students will have the opportunity to vote for the student leaders who will comprise the Guild Council.

The Guild Council will represent the student voice at executive meetings and work to effect changes and improvements on campus, all for the benefit of the student body. This year’s virtual election exercise makes it even easier for students to cast their vote and they can access the voting system from anywhere and on any device.

Here is what you need to know:

- Students can check their UWI student email on polling day for an email entitled Vote now: The University of the West Indies St Augustine Guild of Students - Guild Council General Election 2025. This correspondence would be sent from invitations@mail.electionbuddy.com

- After reading the guidelines contained in this email, scroll to "To vote, visit:" this will be followed by the voting link. Click on the link or copy and paste it into a browser to be able to cast your vote

- If you opted to not have your student information shared with ElectionBuddy you would not receive a link to vote

- Voting closes at 8 p.m. AST
