Do’s and Don’ts of Voting – 2025 Virtual Guild General Elections
The 2025 Virtual Guild General Elections takes place on Thursday, April 03 from 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Here are some Do’s and Don’ts of Voting:
Do’s:
✔️ Check Your Email – Look for the email from ElectionBuddy containing your unique voting link. If you don’t see it, check your spam/junk folder and/or contact the Returning Officer @guildro@my.uwi.edu
✔️ Vote Within the Allowed Time – Ensure you cast your vote before the deadline stated in the email. Late votes will not be counted.
✔️ Maintain Confidentiality – Your vote is private. Do not share your voting link or disclose your choices.
✔️ Use a Secure Internet Connection – To avoid any disruptions, use a stable internet connection while voting.
Don’ts:
❌ Do Not Forward or Share Your Voting Link – Your link is unique to you. If shared, someone else could vote on your behalf.
❌ No Campaigning During Voting – Do not attempt to influence others’ votes after polling has started.
❌ Do Not Vote More Than Once – ElectionBuddy prevents duplicate voting, but do not attempt to vote multiple times.
