The L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards 2026 – Life Sciences and Environment has issued a Call for Nominations for Laureates who are outstanding women researchers within one of the following regions: Africa and the Arab States, Asia and the Pacific, Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, and North America.
The Awards will be given in March 2026 in Paris to the five women selected by an international jury of eminent scientists. Each Laureate will receive €100,000.
The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, 4 July 2025.

About the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards
Created in 1998, the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards identify and support eminent women in science throughout the world. Each year, five Laureates are recognised for their contributions to the advancement of science, in Life Sciences and Environment or Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science in alternating years. Since its launch, the programme has honoured 137 Laureates, seven of whom have also received the Nobel Prize.
