The Human Resources Division is pleased to invite eligible staff members to participate in the training programme “Managing Your Career Progression”, a practical, interactive course designed to help you take ownership of your professional development within the University and to build the skills needed to confidently pursue new opportunities. This three-day workshop will equip participants with the tools to identify suitable career paths, develop an impactful résumé or CV, and improve interview performance through mock sessions and practical exercises.
Departments and Units are urged to encourage their cleaning staff to attend this training, as we aspire to raise the service standards at the university.
Course Title: Managing Your Career Progression
Key Learning Objectives:
· Identify positions within the University that align with your career goals
· Create a compelling résumé or CV tailored to your skills and career aspirations
· Strengthen interview skills through guided simulations and feedback
Target Participants: All staff - Grades 3 – 9 (Clerical/Administrative)
Dates & Time:
Participants will attend three (3) sessions.
The workshop will take place on the following dates and time:
- November 25th, 2025 – 9 am to 12 pm
- December 2nd, 2025 – 9 am to 3 pm
- December 4th, 2025 – 9 am to 12 pm
Mode of Delivery: In-person
Venue:
CLL Building, ICT Lecture Room (room number will be provided to confirmed participants).

Enrolment:
The navigation for online enrolment on PeopleSoft is, as follows:

Certification:
Participants will receive a Certificate of Participation upon successful completion of the module.
Please note:
-Employees who are interested in attending the workshop must enrol online and seek approval from their Head of Department on or before November 14th, 2025. Your HOD must approve the online enrolment by this date.
-As spaces are limited to 25 participants, early registration is advised.
-Only those who receive approval from their Head of Department and the Human Resources Division can attend the workshop. Approved attendees will receive a ‘Successful Enrolment Status’ email from the Human Resources Division prior to the session. Participants are not to attend the session if they have not received this email verification.
-Participants will be advised which session and date they have been registered for, upon successful completion of their registration.
-Participants will be required to walk with a copy of their updated résumé.
