The School of Veterinary Medicine will host the 4th Joint Association of Institutions for Tropical Veterinary Medicine and Society for Tropical Veterinary Medicine (AITVM and STVM) Conference from June 23 to 26, 2026, at The University Inn and Conference Centre, UWI St. Augustine. Convened under the theme “Resilient Futures in Tropical Veterinary Medicine,” this international meeting will bring together a global community of experts dedicated to advancing animal, human, and environmental health through a One Health approach.
As the 16th Biennial Meeting of the Society for Tropical Veterinary Medicine, the conference is expected to welcome more than 200 participants from over 40 countries, including veterinarians, medical doctors, public health and environmental health practitioners, policymakers, researchers, and students working across the Caribbean and the wider tropical and subtropical regions.
