The Centre for Excellence in Teaching and Learning (CETL) invites applications for the 2026/2027 cohort of the Postgraduate Certificate in University Teaching and Learning (CUTL) Programme.

The CUTL is a blended, part-time, graduate-level programme designed to strengthen the quality of teaching among University staff. The programme is compulsory for all new members of The UWI academic staff who do not possess prior qualifications or formal training in university teaching. Priority consideration will be given to Lecturers and Instructors with a contractual obligation to complete the CUTL.

Important Application Information

-          Applications are processed through the Office of Graduate Studies and Research.

-          UWI staff applicants are not required to submit supporting documents

-          Applicants must clearly indicate their status as UWI teaching staff in the relevant section of the application

-          Applicants are encouraged to retain copies and receipts of all submitted documents

-          Application Deadline: May 31, 2026

-          Notification of Successful Applicants: By the end of July 2026
