Be a Volunteer at The UWI Games 2026

The UWI St. Augustine Campus is preparing to host The UWI Games 2026, and we are inviting 300 volunteers from our staff and student community to step forward and be part of this exciting regional event.

From 21 to 29 May 2026, student athletes from across The UWI system will gather in Trinidad and Tobago to compete in a celebration of sport, unity and regional pride. As the host campus, St. Augustine will welcome teams from across the region, and volunteers will play an important role in creating a memorable experience for athletes, officials and spectators.

Volunteering for The UWI Games offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a major regional sporting event, gain valuable experience and connect with members of the wider UWI community.

Volunteer Roles

Volunteers will support the Games across several key areas, including:

-          Operations

-          Athlete Services

-          Registration

-          Protocol

-          Media

-          Spectator Services

-          Venue Support

-          Logistics

Who Can Volunteer

Applications are open to members of the UWI community and the wider public, including:

-          UWI Students

-          UWI Staff

-          UWI Alumni

-          Members of the public

No formal experience is required. Training will be provided.
