As global momentum continues to grow around evidence-informed decision-making (EIDM), and with new funding opportunities emerging through ESIC and other mechanisms, professionals are invited to apply for the Evidence to Policy (E2P) Fellowship Training Programme.
This practical, hands-on programme is designed to strengthen participants’ ability to find, appraise, synthesise and apply evidence to inform policy, programmes and practice.
Participants will gain valuable skills in:
- systematically searching for and appraising research evidence
- using and applying different types of evidence
- framing policy problems, options and implementation considerations
- developing knowledge translation products, including evidence briefs, rapid response briefs and citizen briefs
- planning stakeholder engagement and knowledge uptake activities
By the end of the programme, Fellows will be equipped to apply the Evidence Ecosystem for Impact framework, conduct systematic searches, develop a knowledge translation product, and plan stakeholder engagement processes.
Programme Structure The programme includes a three-day intensive, in-person training from May 4–6, 2026, followed by an optional six-month fellowship with coaching and mentoring from May to October 2026. Participants selected for the extended component will also benefit from bi-monthly coaching sessions, expert guidance, practical tools and access to a regional community of practice.
