The UWI’s digital transformation agenda continues to gain momentum, with major progress already made in governance, infrastructure, cybersecurity, analytics, accessibility and change management.
Supported by teams across The UWI system and the Caribbean Development Bank, these improvements are already strengthening teaching, research and administration through enhanced audio-visual systems, network upgrades, and more accessible digital services.
The transformation is being guided by a Regional Sponsorship Coalition of senior leaders from across the campuses and the Vice-Chancellery, with a focus on aligning change initiatives to the University’s broader strategic vision.
Colleagues can also expect continued engagement through town halls, webinars, training sessions, pilot sessions and regular updates, as the University works toward more efficient services, better connectivity, and more consistent systems and processes across campuses.
This remains a One-UWI effort, with collaboration and feedback from the University community continuing to play a vital role in shaping the future of digital transformation.
