Call for Applications: Space Policy Institute Fellowship for Latin American

Members of the campus community are invited to apply for the George Washington University’s Space Policy Institute Fellowship for Latin American and Caribbean Scholars.

This three-month, in-residence fellowship in Fall 2026 will bring selected scholars to Washington, D.C. to conduct research on Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite systems, including areas such as space policy, economic development and governance frameworks.

Benefits of the fellowship include:

-          A USD $20,000 stipend for living expenses

-          Access to leading space policy experts and institutions

-          The opportunity to contribute Caribbean perspectives to global policy discussions

UWI faculty, researchers and advanced graduate students working in related fields are especially encouraged to apply.
