Posted Monday, April 20, 2026

The University of the West Indies Department of Creative and Festival Arts (DCFA), Visual Arts Unit, invites the campus community and the wider public to the Degree Visual Arts Exhibition 2026, an eleven-day showcase of innovation, creativity and academic achievement by graduating students of the BA Visual Arts (Special) programme.

The exhibition will run from Tuesday 21 April to Friday 1 May 2026, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily, at the Central Bank Museum. A formal Opening Ceremony will be held on Monday 20 April at 5:00 p.m. by invitation only.

Visitors can expect a dynamic collection of conceptual works spanning drawing, painting and three-dimensional design, reflecting the technical skill and creative development of the 2026 graduating cohort.

Curated by Michelle Boyd, Nikolai Noel and Steve Ouditt, the exhibition forms part of the DCFA’s 40 Years Legacy celebrations and highlights the depth of artistic and academic training within the programme.

The public is warmly invited to experience the work of the next generation of Caribbean artists.
