The Embassy of the People’s Republic of China invites academic and non-academic staff of The University of the West Indies to participate in a series of Government of China-sponsored seminars. These in-person programmes present an opportunity for staff to engage in professional development and international exchange.
The available seminars are as follows:
- Tropical Agro-Tourism Development and Planning for Developing Countries
- Customs Trade Facilitation for BRI Countries
- Water Resources Development, Utilisation and Water Environment Governance for Developing Countries
- Mariculture and Aquatic Products Processing & Distribution Technology for Developing Countries
- Dryland Agriculture and Water-Saving Irrigation for Developing Countries
- Power Construction and Renewable Energy Development for Trinidad and Tobago
Please note that these seminars are in person and flights, meals, accommodation and transportation in China will be covered. Only staff with relevant academic qualifications and/or professional experience aligned with the subject area of each seminar will be considered.
