Please be advised that the Public Transport Service Corporation has launched a temporary maxi taxi pilot service on the San Fernando to The UWI St. Augustine route.

The three-week pilot began on April 23, 2026, and will run until May 8, 2026. The service operates every half-hour during both peak and off-peak periods.

Key details:

- First departure from San Fernando: 5:00 a.m.

- Last departure from The UWI: 9:00 p.m.

- Fare: TTD 8.00

- Approved vehicles will display UWI/PTSC-authorized signage.

Students should use only properly identified vehicles associated with this pilot service. Feedback on the service may be shared with Guild representatives, who will liaise with the Campus Registrar’s Office.
