Please be advised of the following key dates and deadlines for ethics applications as the Committee will suspend processing in the month of August 2026.
New Applications: All new applications for ethics approval must be submitted via the UWIScholar portal by Thursday, July 2, 2026 to go to review for the committee meeting in July 2026. Please note that there will be no review cycle in August, and applications submitted after this date will be processed in September 2026.
Resubmissions: If you are resubmitting an application, please do so by Monday, July 20, 2026.
Additionally, all communications related to ethics applications will be suspended after July 20, 2026 and will resume on Tuesday, September 1, 2026.
Any urgent matters or requests for consideration should be directed to the committee via STA-researchethics@sta.uwi.edu no later than July 2, 2026.
