The 6th Annual Monetary Studies Conference (AMSC 2026), hosted by the DeBusk ACBM of Belize, invites researchers, academics, policymakers, and practitioners to submit papers examining the evolving growth and development challenges facing small states in an increasingly complex global environment.

The conference will explore how policy frameworks and growth drivers can be recalibrated to strengthen resilience, improve adaptability, and support sustainable, high-potential growth across small states. Discussions will focus on practical and innovative strategies for navigating heightened vulnerabilities alongside emerging opportunities.

Suggested Areas of Submission

Submissions are invited on a broad range of issues related to the conference theme, including but not limited to:

-          Macroeconomic Stability and Policy Frameworks

-          Financial Systems and Credit Dynamics

-          Productivity and Structural Constraints

-          Labour Markets and Human Capital

-          Climate, Energy, and Economic Resilience

-          External Sector and Global Shifts

-          Institutions and Policy Effectiveness

Submission Guidelines

Authors may submit either an extended abstract or a completed research paper. Abstracts should clearly outline:

-          Research question

-          Methodology

-          Key findings

-          Policy relevance

Submissions should also demonstrate alignment with the conference theme and relevance for small states. Please include the paper title, author affiliation(s), and contact information.
